Spartanburg, South Carolina hosts the Carolina Panthers Training Camp at Wofford College this year starting July 29 – August 18, 2010. The practices are fan friendly and have been listed in the top 5 for that reason. Every practice is free of charge and open to the public and lasts anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours.
Make sure to bring the kids for the Panther Pals program. At select practices, a few lucky pint sized fans, ages 6-13, will be able to watch part of the practice from field level. Afterwards, they will get to spend some time with a Panther and will also receive a tee shirt.
A main event you don’t want to miss is the “Back to Football” party July 31, 2010 at the Gibbs Stadium Plaza. Admission is free with live entertainment, face painting for the kids, and great food. The party will continue after practice is over.
A few more of the plans the Panthers have for fans are Monday Movie Night; showing at different dates, “Radio” and “The Blind Side”, Tee Shirt Tuesdays where the players will toss shirts to the crowd, and Tailgate Party where you can enjoy BBQ ribs and local Bluegrass bands.
